Fastest.Transfer. EVER!

Yo what is up my people!

This week has been amazing. So much happened so here are some highlights.

1. Jake: Found him on campus, he recently became christian and converted to Catholicism through his major of philosophy. We Taught him the restoration with a member and it went awesome! She really wants to read the Book of Mormon.

2. Nick: We met Nick at the booth and talked a lot about our purpose in life and how he doesnt really have any direction. Well we met up on campus and taught him the restoration and he was so intrigued by the Book of Mormon!

3. So we have been trying to work on saying specific prayers. One day before we went out to walk around campus and talk to people, we prayed that we would be able to share our testimonies of the book of mormon. We ended up sitting down on the swings next to a girl named Pragya. We got talking and she used to by Hindu, now converted to Christianity. She was so interested in the book of mormon, we got to share our testimonies and she wanted to meet up.
Part 2 of the miracle. So we got news we were getting transferred, and she said she couldnt meet until later in the week. Well we leave Tuesday and so we texted her and told her what was going on and she made time to meet sunday night like an hour after we called her. We had a very spiritual lesson and after we shared the first vision, she was like "Well then what happened?" She really wants to read the book of mormon. She is literally golden. And side note...We are so sad we are getting transferred. I love sister Baker and will miss her so much. We have worked so hard, and have had so much fun. But she is going to OWASSO! I am so excited for her to meet everyone there. I love that ward with all my heart! I am going to Wichita Falls TEXAS and I am so excited! Its going to be amazing and my new comp will be sister Hancock. I do not know her very well but I know it will be awesome.

4. Another day we prayed to be able to set up a return appointment. Well we started talking to this girl and after we shared what makes mormons different, she asked if we would want to go to lunch with her and talk more about it! So that was a miracle. But we are sad because we are leaving haha.

Well it also snowed this week so that wasnt fun but whatever its warm now so lets just hope that it stays like that!

5. We had an amazing lesson with Hannah. To be short, she loved conference, and at the end we asked her what she needs to do, and she said make a decision! She is so close to baptism and I am so sad that I will not be able to be there for it. Everything is falling into place for her. I have been able to become really good friends with her and she has taught me so much. Ive never met someone who is not a member, dive so deep into the book of mormon. She loves it! I will miss her so much.

6. We got to go to the Medival fair and watch our investigator Emmy dance! That was fun. There were some crazy people there though! haha.

Well I think thats it....I dont really remember anything else. I have loved my time at OU. I am so sad to leave it. I have learned so much here and have made great friends. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to serve here. Its crazy, this has been the fastest transfer ever. It literally flew by, but I guess that time flies when you are working hard, and having fun!

Have a great week yall!

Love, Sister Gentry
