Legendary Week

Hola! This week has been pretty awesome!

So Im gonna hit some highlights because lots of stuff happened.

So first I had MLC (leadership council meeting) and it was awesome! I learned so much and there is a lot I need to work on but it was just so amazing and I received some good revelation.

Okay then we have some pretty amazingly talented Sisters in the town next to us (Noble) and they both are great singers. One plays piano and the other guitar. And so they write songs together and then sing them and they included us in on this last one that everyone has seen the video for and has gone viral...but we were asked to sing at institute. It was so much fun and Ive actually noticed I do really enjoy singing (well I always knew that but I was always scared to sing in front of people) but I guess the mission changes ya. haha. So that was fun.

The weather has been a lot warmer lately and so lots of people have been out hanging around campus and we were walking around and asked these guys if we could play frisbee with them. It was super fun and we ended up giving them a book of Mormon and they are down to read it and talk more about it! Miracles.

So two exciting things with our investigators. So Alli, we were able to set a baptism date with her for Feb 14! Its so cute because her boyfriend is in the ward and he is just so excited for it. We are pumped. Then we have an amazing investigator Hannah, who knows its true but just really wants to make sure she is doing the right thing. But she is reading the Book of mormon and loves it and comes to every event and she is getting really close to baptism!

This is funny, so one night we were walking by some swings and there was like 6 guys just chilling by them so we started talking to them and it turns out they are all from Dubai and have been here for a week! We invited them to church and the said they would come but they weren't understanding our directions so we asked if they wanted to walk with us there! haha. So they did and it was so funny because neither of us could pronounce their names except for Abood and Turki haha! So we didn't actually think they would come to church, but guess what, they totally did! 7 of them came! and with our 3 investigators there, and another girl who decided to randomly come for a class, we had 12 non members at church!!! It was so sweet!

Well thats about it. Campus is amazing. I love my companion and life is good, Except for the fact that it was 68 yesterday and 30 today. I hate Oklahoma weather! haha.
