Mission Mormonaries

Hey y'all! ^^yeah someone mixed up their words and called us that this week haha.

Boy what a week it has been, definitely one of miracles both big and small. Here are a few.

Tuesday we went back to see the Spanish couple we ran into that said to bring back Spanish missionaries. We brought back a return Spanish speaking sister and she translated for us as we taught the restoration. That was an interesting experience! But Martin and Maria are wonderful! They had great questions and were excited to read the book of Mormon! I am so excited to go back this week!

Then there was that family, Yesenia, and kids....that we knocked into...we went back and got to teach her and her 4 kids the restoration! They seemed to like it and were so happy to have us over. I felt really bad though she brought out this whole tea set and offered us tea and we had to tell her we didn't drink tea. But anyways, she invited us back and they want to come to church!

One day we went to see if a potential investigator was home in an apartment complex nearby, he wasn't, so we knocked on a couple doors. The first one we knocked on was an LDS family that busted moved in from Wisconsin. What are the odds. They seemed less active, but they have a little girl who wants to be baptized! One of them said, "wherever I go, the Mormons always find me. I think God is trying to tell me something!" The next door we knocked on was a young couple named Della and Steven. They were so nice and they moved about a year ago and say they want to go to a church. We told them how the gospel blessed families and they said we could come back!!! We are going back Thursday so send prayers that it goes Well! We then (that same day) went to another complex to find a member that we didn't know. They ended up not being home, so we knocked on the neighbors door to ask if they knew them. She didn't but, Stacy, told us about how she is religious but doesn't believe in organized religion because islts all so confusing and everyone believe in different things. It didn't take us long to set up a return appointment with her Haha! So we went back on Saturday to teach her, and brought a youth with us. We had a wonderful restoration lesson and Reili, the youth, bore a powerful testimony of how she knows it's true. Stacy is excited to read the book of Mormon and find out for herself!!

Then this one blew my mind. About a transfer ago, we met a guy named Eric, who took us to lunch and we super solid. Well after that he fell off the face of the planet and we haven't heard from him since. Well we were biking down the street and a guy and a kid were walking on the sidewalk I waved and said hi, and it looked a lot like Eric. Well, I realized that is was him after I passed him so I sharply turned, yelled Eric!!, and almost fell off my bike because I turned to fast. Haha. Luckily I didn't fall, just made myself look like a fool, but we got him! Turns out he really does want to learn more, but is scared because he knows he will have to give up all his bad habits. We told him to not worry about that right now, but to focus on the book of Mormon and getting an answer. It was awesome!!! Such a miracle that we ran into him! I couldn't believe it!!! God must know that he is ready!

We had an amazing lessons with George. He said that he got his answer, and knows that the church is true!!! Of course I couldn't stop smiling the whole time! He knows he needs to get baptized and so he is praying to know when!!!

Mandy was also baptized this week in Utah!! They said it was wonderful! If there is anything that I've learned, it's that gods plan and timing are perfect and he knows exactly when we need what in our lives! Trust him!!

On Sunday we were in the Seymour branch, and we got asked to go to young womens to talk about missions and have the girls ask us questions. It was so much fun! I felt the spirit so strong as I testified that a mission has changed my life and I am so glad that I went. I also had a witness that my relationship with Heavenly Father had grown so much. It was just such a good refection on things. Even if I came out here and got no baptisms and helped no one, I would have still come, because of the change Ive seen in myself. Its just so amazing. and I am so grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Also, we just got new that Sister Maloney and I will be staying another transfer in TEXAS!! we are pretty excited about that! Thank you all for the many prayers! We feel their power every single day!

Love yall!
