Best Weather Ever

Yeah so this week we have had amazing weather. Everyone has been saying its really odd that its been so nice and not that humid this week because usually August is 100 + degrees and freaking humid. Today it was not humid and a nice 72 degrees I guess the heat is coming though. But Im super grateful because we had a zone bike week. So we biked a ton. I think one day we got up to 30 miles. Haha that was awesome.

So it has been crazy. Like always. I mean what else is new...but really though...

So Amy did get baptized this Saturday! It was amazing! We had so many people from the ward there supporting her. She was so happy and felt so much peace. She has literally started over and the change we have seen in her is unlike anything ive ever seen before. I have never met someone as broken and despairing as Amy. And now you would have never guessed that was her 5 weeks ago. She is so strong and she bore a testimony in relief society on sunday that just blew me away. I would say the most special moment of the whole thing was when Sister Bash and I went into the dressing room to help her right after the baptism. I had written her a card and we gave her a necklace and after she read it she just started crying and said Ive never had friends like you before. She then hugged me and just cried and kept repeating over and over "you saved my life." I cant put into words how much she actually meant that, and what it meant to me. (She was going to commit suicide before we met her. She prayed and told God that if he didnt send he angels that she was gonna "go") I feel so humbled and honored to be apart of that. Amy is very special. She has a very important role here on earth and has the capacity to help so many people because of who she is.

So that was awesome.

Then backtrack to tuesday night...Steve calls us...And what he said shocked me to the core. He said Jenette blew up and said she wanted to break up. They have been together for 9 years. She was the only woman that he trusted and now she wanted to leave. Anyways fast forward the rest of the week and as week got more detail and met with Steve, they really are breaking up. We dont know why Jenette went crazy but obviously we didnt have the wedding. It was heartbreaking. I feel like im not gonna tell yall anything is happening until it actually does. haha. JK but Steve never ceases to amaze me. Talk about someone who is converted. He is so strong. He said the first time he called us that he was still with us. That he would never go anywhere because he waited 56 years for us to come find him and he want to be baptized so bad. So as soon as Jenette moves out, he will be baptized (which is most likely going to be the 10th...keep ya posted). It just made me think that the gospel literally holds us together. He knows the Lord knows best and if he wasnt supposed to marry Jenette then so be it. But I am still so sad about it. I honestly wish that you were here Dad to go take him fishing and be guys with him, because he doesnt have many friends (Well hes just shy). But dotn worry, our bishop is on that.

Anyways that was the most of our week. The miracles never cease to come and I find so much joy in the work. Oh also this week we have Greenie Graduation which is when I pretty much finish my training. That will be cool. Im so pumped to not be a greenie anymore!

Love yall!
