Texas just got a little "greener"
Well This week has been amazing. and very bittersweet. Saying goodbye to Sister Hancock was pretty sad. But its okay! I got Sister Maloney and she is the most awesome greenie there is! Funny side note, she is from Houston, Texas! haha. what are the odds! Its cool because we are very similar. Except she is way more talented than I am. She played volleyball and ran track. Loves animals and wants to be a large animal vet. she reminds me of me when I was a greenie, just ready to get to work
Okay Im going to try and list off some of the things that happened.
Tuesday was a lot of saying goodbye to people, and a wonderful lesson with Linda and Garrick (who are getting baptized on the 21st).
Wednesday we got up early and had to drive to transfers. It was a long day, but I got to get sister Maloney and I am feeling blessed! Then that night we got to see a few fireworks in the distance from far off from the top floor of our complex. It was a tender mercy because it didnt really feel like the fourth for me. But it was all good.
Thursday, we got right to work. We went and saw this old couple (Bill and Carol) and it was honestly so cool. We tracted into them a couple weeks ago. When we went back, Carol, was reading the book of mormon! haha. We got to teach them the restoration and Carol wants to come to church! So cool! We also got to meet with April, whose husband is a member. That went well and she is praying about a baptismal date!!! woohoo!
We met with Jason and Casey in Seymour and brought a member with us! It went amazing. Literally, everything that was needed to be said was said and the spirit was so strong. They committed to pray about a baptismal date!!! So cool!
And then Sunday was probably my favorite day, we had 7 investigators come to church! What an amazing thing! I was on cloud 9 that they were all there. This work is so amazing. I love it because it is literally changing their lives and they are allowing it to! Please pray that it will continue!
I am so excited for this week, and I am so thankful to be here with Sister Maloney! Its the best!
Love yall,
