Sister Baker

So my new comp is Sister Baker! She is amazing. From Meridian Idaho! I got the best greenie, its fine :) haha. We are very similar in the fact that we both love the gospel, want to work, hard and arent afraid to do so. She reminds me of me when I was a greenie. She just goes for it. I love it so much! She is not afraid to talk to people on campus or anything. She is also a great teacher and knows her stuff. She doesnt even need me to train her! They are coming out pre trained!!! The best part about training is probably the fact that I learn so much more than she probably does and also the relationship that we develop. Its the best EVER! Also the weather this week has been super great. That was definitely a tender mercy after last week.

There is always so much that happens that I dont even know where to start. haha. I will try and hit some cool things though.

Well first our car was taken because they opened up a new area farther out and they needed it more so we have biked all week. So biking is great!

We had an awesome couple lessons with Hannah this week. She is progressing so well, and knows the book of mormon so well. She loves to really understand what is happening, who is related to who, along with the doctrine. Also she said she would pray and fast about a day to be baptized! We are so excited!

We also taught our newer investigator Evan, this week about the plan of Salvation. He is super cool and pretty open to it all. I asked him why he wanted to meet with us and he said that last semester he met some Elders and they really stood out to him. He could tell they were genuine and that there was something different. And so when he met us, he felt the same way and he knew we had something different. It was so cool! Im excited to see him continue to progress.

And because of the nice weather we also had Hammock bible study!!! Woohooo! Pretty much our best idea ever. Anyways, this week has been a whirlwind, but its been great. I love sister Baker and feel so blessed that we get to be together. I couldnt have gotten a better companion.

I am excited for this coming week and the miracles that it will bring! Missionary work is the best. I LOVE being a missionary. I am so grateful to be out here in the random state of Oklahoma having the best most spiritual experiences of life. THE GOSPEL IS TRUE!!!
