Fall Forward, Spring Back....oh WAIT!

Hey guys!

This week is crazy. And you all know how much I love writing long emails. ha. here we go.

We have seen miracle after miracle. We have 2 investigators who are moving and that made us sad because we are not going to be able to teach them anymore. BUT we found 3 new investigators this week! A cute couple named Jenny and Kyle and a man named Matt! When we met with Jenny and Kyle (we found them knocking doors), Kyle had read until 3 Nephi!! haha. they asked so many good questions and some really interesting ones ive never been asked. Like "why do mormons have such a bad rap? And what do you wish people would know about mormons and what you guys believe?" They were really fun to answer and provided a great opportunity to testify.

So update on Donovan. He is doing awesome. His baptism is this Saturday! We made him invitations to pass out to his friends and he said he had to make some more cause he ran out! So far he has 10 non member friends coming, and 6 of those are reading the BOM! And 2 of them are going to call us to meet up! He is amazing! Then another miracle, Donovan's family (like I said last week) Is going to disown him. Well him and his dad sat down to talk and he he was like "Dad, you dont even know what I am getting myself into. You havent even read the BOM." so his dad said he would read the book of mormon. I couldnt believe it when he told us! I know that this is the direct result of all the prayers from the ward and us and yall. Thank you for all the prayers! And even if his dad doesnt join the church, maybe he wont disown him.

Its been getting colder here. The leaves are finally starting to change colors. The temperature is 85 one day and 50 the next. I had to scrape ice of the window one morning....That was fun.

We have also seen many miracles with getting members to go out with us. One night we decided to call people and try and get a member at every lesson. It was amazing. Everyone we called said they could help and would love to be there! That was incredible especially with everyones busy schedules.

We met with our investigator Bernadette, she is doing good and really wants to and knows she needs to come to church. We actually invited her to be baptized, but she said she want quite ready. But it was cool because actually this morning she texted us and said that everyone had the flu and they really needed some gatorade and didnt know who else to ask! So we went and got her some and she also asked if the Elders could come give Robert (her less active husband) a blessing! It was so cool. Im excited to see how this week goes with her.

then we met with Ricky. (the older man investigator) It was good, but he wasnt understanding why what we were teaching was so important. So I asked him, "If the book of Mormon was true, what would that mean? Why would it matter?" haha that helped clear things up and he said that he would sincerely read and pray because he really wants more peace in his life.

Also regional conference was awesome yesterday. And why the heck is Oklahoma and Utah in the same region? That made no sense to me. But anyways, the work is good, and God is greater. I am excited for zone conference this week and Donovan's baptism and all of our investigators!

Love you all!
