Cat Hair
So this week was pretty good! We had some fun times.
Monday was zone p day in Lawton and I got to see sister Hancock and so that was a blast. Then we went straight to Duncan OK for exchanges. We had a great time with the sisters there! We biked a lot! I forgot how flat Wichita falls is! haha. Thankful for that!
And then we left Wednesday morning to Edmond for Greenie follow up meeting with all the greenies for sister Maloney. It was awesome! I love seeing other missionaries and president. Its always so much fun! then we drove all the way back to Texas, went straight to Olive Garden where a member took us out, and then to the church for book of mormon class. Then we rushed from that to go see Mandy....I dont know if Ive told yall about her, if so im sorry. So Mandy is Laura Babbels friend (we are also teaching her friend Serena). Mandy is from Holland. She is best friends with Laura and spends every summer with them. So Many met with the missionaries a couple years ago and just didnt have a good experience. She has been around the church for 6 years. anyways, last week, President Mansell came to church randomly. He said he didnt know why he was here, until he saw Mandy. He was talking to her and finally at the end of church said, Mandy, you need to be baptized. She said she would pray about it, and she also got a blessing. Well turns out that she felt so much peace about it and knew that she needed to! She is going to be baptized on august 8th! Its just so cool how God works and his timing is always perfect. She is also going to go out to school at UVU and will be by Laura who is going to BYU! So much fun because I will be able to see them! anyways, long story, but big miracle!
So we werent home for like 3 days. haha.
We have continued to teach J'June, Bill and Carol, Serena, Jason and Casey, Jamaal, George and a few others and it was awesome!
George told us that he will pray about baptism and we are so excited!
Yesterday we went to Church in seymour and spent the whole day there. I love that little branch. Our investigator Cagney texted us and was like, "I have a friend that I want to introduce yall to because you have helped me so much with getting closer to God and everything!" We are so excited to meet her! Its the best when your investigators bring you more people to teach!
I love the mission more and more each day. I am so grateful for the people I get to meet and the experiences I get to have and all the ways I have grown! Its the best!
Have a great week!
