Baptism!

Alright, Ill cut to the chase. Linda and Garrick were baptized on Saturday and It was wonderful! I loved every minute of it! the spirit was so strong. It was awesome for many reasons. First, her non member children came. and second, sister Hancock got to be there! It was so cool. During the baptism both of us were just overwhelmed with joy because of all the hard work and time we had struggled and prayed and fasted for that family. And then they were finally being baptized. Man I was just bursting with joy! It was wonderful!

Anyways, that just took up so much of the week that I cant remember anything else! haha. No we had a lot of good lessons. We taught Carol the plan of salvation and she loved it. She said she is learning more than she ever did growing up. Its been so cool. Then we were able to teach George (not kristina this week though she was sick) and it went so good. We called George after church, he came, and he said he was feeling kinda down at church, and so he opened the book of mormon and started to read and he felt so happy and warm. He was like, "I didnt know what it was at first, but then I realized it was the holy ghost! So cool!!!! He loves it and we can definitely see him getting baptized soon!

J' June is still doing good. This week we taught the plan of salvation and he said it made so much sense. He said that preachers in the past would teach part of it, but it never would make sense or they wouldnt ever finish the thought. Anyways, he also came to church and it loving it as well.

We also had zone conference this week and of course it was awesome. I always learn so much and the spirit is so strong. I love president and Sister Mansell. They are the best. As a mission, we are all going to do the ARP program for little things that we all deal with. For example how the anti nephi lehis buried their weapons of war. They gave them up. We are all going to bury our weapons and become better. I am really excited. I know it will be hard, but we are going to be able to change and grow so much because of it.

Oh we also had a wonderful lesson with serena this week. I finally feel like she understands that she can recieve and answer from God, and that she doesnt have to know everything, to get an answer! That was a miracle.

Another miracle is that Jason (truck driver married to Casey) has been working really hard to quit smoking. Casey was talking to him on the phone, and asked what the popping noise was. Well it turns out that he was chewing sun flower seeds so that he wouldnt smoke! I could not stop smiling! It was wonderful to hear that!

anyways, life has been so good. So hot, but so good. I am so thankful for the people I get to meet each day and all those who I get to know and love and become close with. I am thankful for my Savior Jesus Christ who gives me the strength to do all things. I couldnt do it without him. I love this work and this gospel. Its the best thing ever and everyone needs it!!!!!!!!

Anyways, love yall!
