General Conference is the BEST!

Hey Y'all!

This week has been awesome, of course! I just love being a missionary, it's truly the best. And so here are a few miracles from the week.

We had a lesson with Knrina and her family (they are from Micronesia) and we finally were able to get all the kids into the lesson and it went great. We ended up showing them the children's bible video about baptism and committed them all to be baptized!! The youngest (he's 5) wants to get baptized so bad! It's so cute, but we told him he can get baptized as soon as he is 8 and he was good with that. We also were able to watch Saturday morning general conference with them which was so Good!

I am very excited for the changes taking place. I was overwhelmed with the feeling of joy and peace as the spirit spoke to me that this is God's will for is and it's going to change everything. I am so excited to be able to increase my own gospel learning and that of my future family in the home. Gods work is definitely progressing. I loved how he said that rushing water doesn't stay dirty for long. There is no way that it can. And that is what is going to happen with the people in the church.

Another miracle. We have an investigator named Jane who lives in our apartment complex. Well, she is moving to another apartment in the complex and we went over to help her pack. We got a lot of it done and at the end we all day we all sat down on the couch for a prayer. She all of a sudden broke down and just told us that she was having a terrible day and that there were a lot of family issues going on and things. She didn't feel very loved or appreciated and was just so tired. We started to show her a video (elder Bednars patterns of light video) and right then she got a phone call. This phone call was from a man that she helped 15 years ago. He said that she played a big role in turning his life around and essentially saving his life and the life of his two daughters and that he was so grateful. She started crying and said it was such a miracle from God. We then finished watching the video and it was everything that she needed to hear. She was so emotional that she couldn't talk. She then knew that God loved her and knew exactly what she needed when she needed it. We asked her what she needed to do and she talked about how it was the coolest sign ever. She said church and then baptism! Haha,  so we don't have a date with her but it's on her radar. But most importantly, we had the most amazing spiritual moment with her and I know that God knows us each personally! He loves us all so much!

We also had the opportunity to start teaching our investigator Natalies 13 year old daughter Cornysha! We taught her the restoration and gave her a book of Mormon. She really seemed interested. And on top of that, she and her younger brother came to mutual that night and had a great time!

I loved the women's session of conference, it was amazing. I feel so blessed to be a woman in the church. I am grateful for our prophet who leads and guides this church. I know that this really is Christ's true church on the earth today. I am thankful that we can all receive personal revelation for our lives. I would be lost without it. I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ who is the head of this church. May we all do a little more to follow his perfect example, to minister to others, and to really submit our will to God's so that we might recieve all the blessings that are in store for us.

Love y'all!
