TEXAS!

Okay this week was so crazy but it was wonderful and I dont even know where to start!
So I got my new companion, sister Hancock who is amazing! She is amazing and we are already best friends! We are so excited to be together. We are so alike and have so much fun together! She is from Gilbert AZ! So Transfer day we had a 3 hour drive down to Wichita Falls. Its sooo flat!

there is only one ward here and its huge. We cover the south side and a small branch in Seymour Texas about an hour away, and the elders cover the north. We also have a senior couple who are full time proselyting missionaries and we all live in the same complex! Thats fun!

I dont have too much time and just so much happened so Im gonna list them!

1. Micheal: super cool investigator. Loves the book of mormon and D&C. Got to teach him and it was great!

2. Isatu; her husband is a member. Taught the plan of salvation...also amazing. She is from somewhere in Africa and is so kind!

3. there is a small campus here! MSU...Im SO HAPPY! We live like 3 minutes away. We went and found some sweet potentials.
the week before the sisters found a girl named Zaneib. We got to meet with her. She took us to a park and we walked around the park with her while her daughter played. She grew up muslim but doesnt practice it. she loved what we taught about the restoration! then she took us to sonic! So excited to meet with us again and wants to come to BOM class!

4. Went to Seymour branch for church. It was so fun. The building is tiny and so is the town. Afterwards we taught investigators Casey and Jason. they really want to be baptized but Jason has to quit smoking first. We bore powerful testimony how the BOM and Jesus Christ can help him. he also made us BBQ for lunch and it was dang good! Seymour is such a cute little town. I love it!

5. Gilbert. He is a recent convert and has a taco truck. He feeds us for free anytime and boy is it sooo good! I love it. Also I have fallen in love with Horchata! yum!

6. we were knocking doors and were trying to find a potential listed in our area book, well this lady opens the door wearing close to nothing - Woah! haha! We were gagging because of the smoke pouring out of the house and she was obviously drunk. I wish I could tell you the whole experience in detail because it was so awkward and hilarious. She asked us where we were from like a billion times and asked if we would pray with her. she told us that she doesnt "play" with Jesus and that we could come back whenever we wanted. Haha. that was definitely one of the craziest people I have met on my mission!

Well I know a lot more happened but like I said I dont have time and my brain is just lost with everything! I love Texas though. I love sister Hancock! she is amazing and we are having so much fun together! Ill try and send a better email next week! Love you all!
