Hammocks and Baptisms

Hello everyone!

This week was great! So many things happened like always, so I will share some of the highlights.

ALLI was baptized and it was amazing! It was so much fun too! Alli is pure joy and wanted to celebrate her decision to its fullest so of course we went to brunch beforehand at a french bistro place (it was very good) and then after the baptism we had lots of treats complete with a decorated whiteboard to take pictures on :) haha It was a little bit like a wedding reception but it was awesome and so many people came to support. Also the Sister Missionaries hit again with a song written just for Allis baptism. Ill attach a video :) Hope yall like it.

So the second best thing this week was definitely our hammock bible study. Ill also attach pictures of that because they are awesome. We had 4 investigators come and a bunch of other people too! The weather was perfect and it was so much fun. We are excited to do it again, and hopefully we can make it bigger next time!

One day we were walking around (side note- it was actually valentines day and we were passing out candy to everyone! It was the best!) and we saw a guy shooting hoops so we went over to talk to him. Sister Lewis said, "if I make a basket will you read a chapter from this book?" he said yes. So she shoots, misses, shoots, misses. Shoots, misses. Sister Lewis: "If my companion makes it will you read a chapter." Guy: "Sure" I made it. haha. I would just like to say it was a really nice shot. But anyways that was a fun way to share the gospel and we actually ran into him another day and he wasnt really interested but it was fun.

And we have been finding people like crazy! It has been so much fun. Im pretty sure that tomorrow we have 6 lessons planned. Like im not even kidding! Its a good thing the Noble sisters are coming on exchanges with us (we are splitting campus area) so that we can make it to all the appointments and still do the booth! Its the best! I love being a missionary and sharing the gospel. I just want everyone to feel the joy that it brings! Everyone just needs to read the book of mormon!!! haha okay im done ranting sorry :)

Oh we also got a new ward mission leader this week! His name is Nick and he is awesome!!! We are so excited and he is going to help the missionary work progress here so much!

Also we found out that this little burger place right by the institute does taco tuesday for $0.50 and they are DELICIOUS!!!!! ( I love tacos)

This week is just going to be great. Not only do we have exchanges tomorrow, we are playing paint ball today for p day!!!! and then wednesday we have interviews ( I have to give a training for the zone with the other STL sis Hanson and low key freaked out) but it will be awesome because the training is about righteous desires and motives and how to purify and evaluate them. I am so passionate about it because like I think it the coolest thing how our desires literally dictate our actions and our success!!! I love how the atonement of Jesus Christ allows us to be able to chane our nature and become so much better. When we desire righteousness always and our eye is single to God and focused on him always, then is when our faith increases and we see miracles. The church is true yall! Also this week (on saturday) we hear about transfers. I cant beleive it has almost already been 6 weeks. TIME BLOWS BY!

Love yall! Thank you for all the prayers and love! Dont forget to serve someone this week!
Love Sister Gentry (Who is about to go win at paintball #teamblue
