Donovan was Baptized!

This week was super good!

First off Donovan was baptized! It was great! He was so excited and he asked if he could share his testimony afterwards. Many people were touched by his story and strong spirit. We also had a lot of the ward there! It was great to see all the support! and they had to have him kneel in the font because he is just so tall! haha. It was a great day. 

We also had Zone conference this week. We were all asked to prepare a 7 minute talk on conversion. And then during the conference we were told that a couple of us would be called to speak. I of course was called to be the first speaker. It was a little intimidating talking in front of 70+ missionaries and my mission president but they haven't fired me yet, so I think I must have done okay! :)

Then another highlight, I got a letter from Steve Mckee my recent convert from Broken Arrow! He said he hadn't hand written a letter since 1980. He is doing soo good. (I was like a little kid at Christmas when I got his letter) He just loves family history work. He has become very involved and he sent me two stories from his ancestors who were Mormon! It was so neat. I love it. 

Lets see one afternoon all our appointments fell through so we decided to go talk to people on Collinsville main street and do some street contacting. It was a 7 mile bike ride to get there and we lucked out with some really good weather. We had a great time, met so many cool people (including a guy from Scotland in an antique shop!) It was a good day! 

And yesterday we had interviews. of course those were good, they always are. We also saw some cool miracles yesterday. (Its bike week) so as we were biking we were able to see two potential investigators-who have been hard to catch-and now we have two returning appointments with them! woohoo. 

This week I am also excited for exchanges. We get to go up to Pawhuska! which apparently is a little small town north of us. Im pumped should be really fun!

We met with Ricky twice this week and it went really well. He said he was going to be at church, but then didnt come, so that was sad. Hopefully this week it will happen! 

Well, Thats about it! Everything is going great and Im excited to see what this week will bring! Thanks for all the prayers! Dont forget to read the Book of Mormon!
